Pink is one of those dolls that seems almost too perfect for her age. Her wonderful bisque, brilliant blue sleep eyes, beautiful original body finish, soft mohair curls, and entirely handmade coral-pink wardrobe come together beautifully. She has been carefully prepared for display and is ready for her next loving home.

The body is exceptionally well preserved. It retains its beautiful original glossy finish, including the delicate red painted accents on the fingers and toes.
We see no evidence of body repairs, and the overall condition is truly remarkable for an antique doll of this age.
We have carefully restrung Pink with new elastic, so she is now nicely tensioned and ready for display.
A Completely Handmade Wardrobe
Everything Pink is wearing was created especially for her in our workshop with great care and love. 🌸
Her beautiful coral-pink silk dress was sewn entirely by hand with needle and thread and decorated with antique lace.
Over the dress she wears a delicate white cotton apron, handmade from old batiste fabric.
Her undergarments are also very special. The chemise and pantaloons were created from an old batiste christening gown and decorated with beautiful antique Valenciennes lace, silk ribbons, and tiny fastenings.
She also wears lovely old white socks.
Handmade Leather Shoes
Pink's shoes were created especially for her from fine pearlescent pink leather, using an antique doll-shoe pattern.
They were carefully made to coordinate with her dress and bonnet and are decorated with charming handmade silk ribbon rosettes.
Handmade Antique-Style Bonnet
Her matching bonnet was also made completely by hand from old materials.

Together, the dress, bonnet and shoes give Pink the appearance of a beautifully dressed child from another era.

It is a tiny detail, but one that makes her feel completely finished. 💕

Condition Notes
Pink is in exceptionally beautiful antique condition.
Her bisque head has no cracks or chips, her sleep eyes work properly, her body retains its beautiful original finish and painted details, and she has now been freshly restrung.
As with any genuine antique doll more than a century old, tiny signs of age may be present. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they are an important part of the description.
