I am pleased to offer this charming antique Simon & Halbig 1079 bisque doll, measuring approximately 18 inches tall. She is a beautiful example of early German doll craftsmanship, thoughtfully dressed and presented with her little bear companion.
Head & Bisque
The bisque head is free of cracks and hairlines
There are a few tiny rim flakes, likely from earlier glue removal (please see close-up photos)
The face shows a few light whitish spots on the bisque, visible on the forehead and left cheek — these are mentioned for full transparency and can be seen clearly in the photos
Glass sleep eyes with original working mechanism
Soft, sweet facial expression typical of the 1079 mold
