This exceptional antique Kammer & Reinhardt mold 192 doll is a truly special early German character doll. Measuring approximately 18" (46 cm) tall, she is marked with the rare "C" on the back of her head, a marking that is seen only on a small number of early examples and is highly desirable among collectors.
Her beautiful bisque porcelain head is in excellent original condition, with no hairlines, cracks, chips, or repairs. The bisque has a wonderfully smooth, delicate complexion with expertly painted features that make this doll especially captivating.
She has stunning antique sleeping brown glass eyes that open and close properly, framed by finely painted upper and lower lashes. Her open mouth reveals four original milk glass teeth, giving her the sweet expression that made early Kammer & Reinhardt dolls so beloved.
