Antique Kestner 260 Flirty Eye Character Boy Doll 16" German Bisque Fauntleroy
A wonderfully charming antique German character doll — Kestner mold 260, approximately 16" / 40 cm tall, with beautiful flirty sleep eyes and an exceptionally sweet, angelic expression.
He is dressed as a miniature Little Lord Fauntleroy in a wonderful antique blue wool ensemble and retains so much of his original antique character.

Important Bisque Condition Note
The bisque head has an old professional restoration to the right eye socket, where there was once a small chip.
This restoration was professionally completed many years ago and is part of the doll’s history.
Aside from this disclosed restored area, the head presents beautifully. Please examine the close-up photographs carefully, as they are an important part of the condition description.
Body
The doll retains his antique composition body, which is in good antique condition and still has lovely old painted details, including the traditional red accents on the hands and feet.
The doll is moderately strung. He is not extremely tightly strung, but displays very nicely with a doll stand.
Why There Are No Undressed Body Photos
I have intentionally not removed his antique clothing to photograph the body.
His outfit is extremely old and fragile. The jacket has been sewn directly onto the doll, and the trousers are so delicate with age that I am concerned they could tear if removed.
I prefer to preserve this wonderful antique clothing rather than risk damaging it simply for photographs.

New cotton socks
The original socks were extremely deteriorated and could no longer be preserved, so I replaced them with new cotton socks.
The remainder of his wonderful antique presentation has been kept intact.
Please note that the clothing is very old and fragile and shows age-related wear consistent with antique textiles.
Accessories
He comes with a charming antique miniature horn, which looks wonderful with his Little Lord Fauntleroy costume.
Condition
This is a genuine antique doll and naturally shows signs of age.
The bright blue flirty/sleep eyes are working properly. The composition body is in good antique condition, and the doll retains his wonderful antique clothing, wig, hat and shoes.
As noted above, there is an old professional restoration to the right eye socket where a small chip had been present. The repair was completed many years ago.
His antique clothing is particularly fragile and should be handled with care.
